For Those Most urgent, Touring 2020-2021

For Those Most Urgent was a series of recurring sculptures, installations and performances which started its life through the Out and About Commission, Queering the Museum, Royal Albert Memorial Museum, Exeter in 2020 and continued through to the group exhibition Beyond Otherness, Open Hand Open Space, Reading in 2021 before culminating in an intimate reimagining at Yonder Gallery, Huddersfield as part of Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival 2021.

Bringing together an eight foot sculptural crucifix, poetry and a small pile of used HRT ampules, For Those Most Urgent explored becoming christ, gender affirming surgery and familial estrangement.
